1. The prospective student must be informed about the college activities and courses
and more importantly about our terms and conditions. This can be done by:
- contacting the College directly
- contacting one of our representatives in their respective country (if any)
- consulting our prospectus if you have a copy
- visiting our website: www.capital-college.com
2. Once the prospective student believes that he/she meets the minimum entry
requirements, then he/she can apply for the proposed COURSE OF STUDY
using the college OFFICIAL APPLICATION FORM or apply on-line via our
website. The application form must be accompanied by:
(a) 2 recent passport-size photographs (not more than 6 months old).
(b) Certified photocopies of all educational certificates, birth certificate as well as
employment letters (if applicable).
(c) Statement of Purpose (SOP) for students from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka,
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, China.
(d) Application form duly completed (in capital using black ink roller ball pen),
dated and signed by the prospective student.
(e) £100 is payable as Registration fees as follows:
Registration fees are to be paid by Bankers Draft ONLY. Bank Drafts are to be
issued in the name of CAPITAL COLLEGE UK.
3. Once the College receives the application, the admission College will process the
application immediately. Successful admission to the College will depend on:
- (a) The prospective student meeting the minimum entry requirements.
- (b) The prospective student has a good command in English, usually a total score band of 6.5 in IELTS or equivalent.
4. Once a candidate’s application is accepted, the following documents will be issued
to him/her:
- Conditional letter of acceptance
- Letter confirming annual breakdown of expenses to be incurred as an international student in the United Kingdom.
5. The above documents should enable the prospective student to:
- Apply for leave from his/her current employer (if applicable).
- Apply for educational loan.
- Apply for foreign exchange for paying his/her tuition fees.
6.The next step is for the prospective student to pay for his/her tuition fees. The
College encourages students to pay their full fees. Tuition fees must be paid in full
before the College issues any official document.
7.In case of PAYMENT BY INSTALMENT, the prospective student must make sure
that he/she SECURES a letter from the College acknowledging that payment by
installment has been AGREED between both parties. This letter might be required
for VISA purposes.
8.Once the tuition fee is received by the College, the following documents will be
issued to the prospective student:
- Letter of Acceptance
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies
- Payment Certificate
9. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS:
(a) Letter of Accommodation:
Although the college is non-residential, we do assist our students in finding
suitable accommodation in the area. The cost of a single room will vary from
£50 – £55 per week.
In order for the College to book accommodation and issue an official letter
of accommodation, the student must book and pay at least 6 WEEKS in
advance for his/her accommodation. We will also require ONE-MONTH
RENT and one month deposit in advance. For example, for a single room at
£50 per week, the student should pay a deposit of £55 x 4 x 2 to the College.
Upon payment, the College will issue an official letter of accommodation.
(b) Letter of Late Acceptance
The College understands that certain students might experience difficulties
in obtaining their VISAS. THE COLLEGE WILL ISSUE LETTERS OF LATE
ACCEPTANCE ONLY to genuine students who have experienced difficulties
in obtaining their visas or any other practical difficulties acceptable to the
College.
The issue of LATE ACCEPTANCE LETTERS is however subject to the
following:
(i) The student will be allowed a delay of a maximum of four (4) weeks to
start his/her programme.
(ii) The student must request in writing for such a letter justifying his/her
action for doing so.
(iii) The student undertakes to catch up for the missed classes during his/
her term holidays after consulting his/her correct coordinator.
10. TIME FRAME
Depending from country to country, we strongly advise students to start initiating
action at least three months before they travel. For example:
